My star wall-hanging project presented the perfect opportunity to illustrate an answer to the questions I am asked many times about pinning and using stencils. It's not the only way, it may not be the best way, but it's the best way for me. I am using our Full Line Stencil #33008, 'Ohana Mandala, designed by Lauren Jackson of Bold Notion Quilting. When four are placed together,  it makes a beautiful 20" mandala block. In this case, I wanted to use it in the outer blocks of my star. I quilted the interior of the star with our #31021, Radiating Lines stencil also by Lauren Jackson. I used our Ultimate Pounce Pad to transfer the stencil.
